Kwai River Bridge – The Bridge on the River Kwai 1957

Synopsis
The Bridge on the River KwaiAfter the capture of British forces and their commander by Japanese, they have to build a bridge on the Kuwai River. But, after a while, one of the soldiers succeeds in escaping from there; that this escapes the events and the main adventures of the story of the film.

The film narrates the status of English captives during World War II to build a bridge to connect to the Burmese-Siam railway. The initial intention of these soldiers is to destroy the bridge, but under the leadership of their commander, Clonel Nicholson, they are convinced to build the bridge for the sake of the British spirit and dignity in those difficult circumstances. At first, the troops praised their commander for tolerating torture rather than compromise with the Japanese commander. He is a respectable but arrogant man, who turns out to be a glamorous complex. He convinced the soldiers that the bridge could be a character from Britain, but in fact he would build the bridge, and he would work with the enemy in a clever way. But without knowing it, the Americans send their own force to destroy the bridge and ….
